Art Contest 

Celebrating the Theme of Geography:

Making Spaces of Possibility

Have your students design an original work of art for a chance to win great prizes for both the student and the classroom.

Imagine. Design. Inspire.

 The Rules:

  1. Design a community space that meets social, environmental, and economic needs. Let your imagination build a better world.

  2. The accepted formats for the art are (1) traditional, (2) digital, or (3) Story Map.

  3. The art should be no larger than 8” x 10” or the size of a standard piece of paper.

  4. Each student may submit only one entry.

  5. The student design must only be on one side of the paper.

  6. All artwork must be original work by the student with no AI elements.

  7. A first, second, and third place winner will be selected in each of the three categories: Pre-K - 3rd grade, 4th-6th grade, 7th -12th grade. Judging will be based on (1) adherence to rules, (2) originality, and (3) content and appropriateness to the theme.

  8. Entries must be postmarked by Monday, November 17, 2025.

Age appropriate art supplies

Teacher Prizes:

Teachers of winning students will each win classroom resources of their choice. 

The Deadline:

Entries must be accompanied by an official entry form and postmarked by Monday, November 17, 2025. All entries become the property of OKAGE. Original artwork cannot be returned and reproductions may be distributed or displayed at various OKAGE events throughout the year.
